Brighton College Vietnam hosts dialogue to strengthen partnerships within the wider IB community

Last weekend, Brighton College Vietnam welcomed teachers from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Thailand to join us for a professional dialogue on the IB Diploma Programme. Together with representatives from the International Baccalaureate (IB), we explored the latest updates to the Diploma curriculum and shared ideas on how to further enrich our teaching and learning.
“The day marked the beginning of exciting new partnerships. By building links with fellow IB practitioners, we are creating a community where schools can learn from each other and grow stronger together,” shared Ms Freya Odell, Head of IBDP at Brighton College Vietnam.
Beyond curriculum updates, we shared strategies for teaching, approaches to pupils wellbeing, and ways to strengthen both core and subject areas of the Diploma Programme. Importantly, we also looked ahead to how we can continue these connections, through school visits, student conferences, and collaborative CPD (Continuing Professional Development) events for staff, according to Ms Odell.
As an IB World School, Brighton College Vietnam is committed to academic excellence while fostering the individual aspirations of our pupils in Vietnam, equipping them with the skills and confidence to secure their first-choice university. This is a great opportunity for Brighton College Vietnam to engage with the wider IB community and continue to deliver the very best education for our pupils and prepare them for success in an ever-changing world.
