Brighton College Vietnam Joins Education Leaders at the Vietnam Education Forum 2025
Recently, Ms Carly Barber, our Head of College, took part in the panel discussion “Productive Skills and Employability” at the Vietnam Education Forum 2025, hosted by BritCham Vietnam. The Forum serves as a key platform connecting leading educational institutions, experts, and organisations from both Vietnam and the UK to discuss innovation, international collaboration in shaping future learning.

During the panel discussion, Ms Carly Barber, alongside representatives from the British University Vietnam (BUV) and the British Council, shared thoughtful perspectives on how education can equip pupils with essential skills such as AI literacy, critical thinking, adaptability, and mental wellbeing, while also encouraging a shift from a “certificate mindset” to a “skills mindset.” She highlighted Brighton College Vietnam’s commitment to nurturing pupils who are confident, kind, and curious, ready to embrace opportunities and thrive on the global stage.
As part of the wider British education community, Brighton College Vietnam looks forward to strengthening partnerships that help enrich education in Vietnam, foster innovation in teaching and learning, and contribute to developing a generation of flexible, creative, and globally minded young talents ready to shape a better future.
