Brightonians Lead the Nation in IGCSE Excellence

We are incredibly proud to celebrate two exceptional Brightonians who have been recognised at the 2025 Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards for achieving the Highest Mark in the Country in their respective IGCSE subjects during the 2024/2025 examination series.

A Hat-Trick of Excellence

We are equally delighted to honour Vi Khoi, also in Year 12, who has achieved an extraordinary hat-trick at this year’s awards. He secured the Highest Mark in the Country in English Literature, English Language, and Computer Science—a rare and outstanding feat.

His achievement is a testament to his discipline, natural ability, and quiet confidence. These qualities embody the very best of the Brightonian spirit and will undoubtedly propel him toward even greater academic and personal success.

Thuy Linh, our gifted Year 12 pupil, has earned the Highest Mark in the Country in Art and Design: Fine Art—a remarkable accomplishment that highlights both her talent and dedication.
Her final artwork is a deeply expressive piece, combining technical mastery with a thoughtful, distinctive artistic voice. It stands as a powerful reflection of her curiosity, emotional insight, and commitment to her craft.
