[CCAs Spotlight] Building skills, fitness, and character with Basketball Club

What’s better than playing sports with friends after class? For our U13 Girls Basketball CCA members, this is a time for playing, learning, and growing together on the court. The Basketball CCA builds skills, fitness, and character through structured training and friendly competition. Here, our pupils learn the fundamentals – dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense – while developing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Sessions include drills, small-sided games, and match play, with pathways to school teams and inter-school leagues.
Other than basketball, our CCAs programme offers a wide range of sports, including Football, Badminton, Swimming, Pickleball, Table Tennis, Darts, Chess, and Athletics. These are among the 69 Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) available to Senior pupils from Monday to Thursday each week, at no additional cost, at Brighton College Vietnam. We believe that the CCAs programme plays a vital role in enriching pupils’ learning and developing essential skills such as teamwork, leadership, and self-management.
