[CCAs Spotlight] VEX Robotics Club in action

DSC03823

Each week, our Digital Innovation Lab comes alive with fresh ideas, creative experiments, and the buzzing energy of robots in action at the VEX Robotics Competition Club. This week, our pupils began testing their robots on a custom-built track designed to simulate real competition conditions. Designing a robot capable of stacking and transporting cones with precision and control. Teams worked collaboratively to engineer claw mechanisms and lift systems, experimenting with different designs to improve grip and stability. On the programming side, pupils used Scratch to develop basic movement and control sequences. They successfully coded their robots to follow a set path and perform maneuvers.

At the VEX Robotics Club, pupils team up to design, build, and program robots while discovering the exciting world of engineering. Along the way, they develop valuable skills in coding, problem-solving, teamwork, and strategic thinking. This CCA also prepares them to compete in official VEX tournaments, proudly representing the school on the global STEM stage.
