Congratulations to our Brightonians on their Mathematics achievements

We warmly congratulate our pupils for their recent success at the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) 2025 – Final Round and the Future Mathematicians Olympiad – National Round. Taking part in these highly regarded competitions alongside so many talented young mathematicians from across Asia has been a valuable experience, and we are delighted to see our pupils recognised for their efforts.
At the HKIMO Final Round in Hong Kong, which gathered over a thousand young mathematicians from across Asia including China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam, our pupils gained remarkable results:
🥇 Gold Award: Nhat Quang (Year 6) and Thai Son (Year 4). Son also won the Euler Prize (Perfect Score in Number Theory), Euclid Prize (Perfect Score in Geometry), and Pascal Prize (Perfect Score in Combinatorics).
🥈 Silver Award: Le Bach (Year 6) and Anh Tu (Year 4). Tu also won the Euler Prize (Perfect Score in Number Theory).
🥉 Bronze Award: Nhu Y (Year 7) and Minh Dung (Year 6).
Meanwhile, in the Future Mathematicians Olympiad – National Round, Manh Hung (Year 4) proudly achieved the Gold Award.
