Congratulations to our Class of 2025 IGCSE pupils!

Today we celebrate a special milestone at Brighton College Vietnam, as our inaugural Year 12 pupils receive their IGCSE results. We are delighted to share in their success and commend them for the perseverance and commitment shown throughout this journey.

In this first year of entries, nearly half of all grades were awarded at A or A*, with 91% of pupils achieving at least one A-grade equivalent across 18 subjects. We believe that, through the breadth of subjects studied and the journey of exploration over the past two years of IGCSE study, our pupils have begun to discover their passions and strengths to carry forward into the next stage of learning. This, above all, is one of the most meaningful outcomes we have achieved together.

Mrs Carly Barber, Head of College, reflected: “We are exceptionally proud of all our pupils today, for the wonderful outcomes achieved across such a breadth of subjects. It has been a joy to see pupils excel in areas they are passionate about, and in some cases in subjects entirely new to them when they joined us. Today is just one step along the pathway towards their dreams. Already, they have begun on their IBDP journey with confidence and, with the excellent support and guidance available, they have set their sights high and wide.”

To our pupils: these results mark an important foundation for the next stage of your studies. You are now well placed to specialise, to challenge yourselves further, and to contribute to College life and the wider community. As you reflect on this milestone, remember that while academic achievement matters, it must never come at the expense of balance or wellbeing. Hold on to your love of learning and your curiosity for discovery, for these will carry you far beyond grades alone.
