“Each one of you is unique and has something special inside that makes you incredible. Be proud to be you!”

With these heartfelt words, Head of College Mrs Carly Barber opened Brighton College Vietnam’s first whole-college assembly of the academic year. 

In the story that she told, Mrs Barber invited pupils to reflect on the qualities and talents that make them who they are – those unique sparks that set each individual apart. She encouraged everyone to celebrate their own strengths and to embrace the joy of being themselves.

Pupils were reminded that the College’s three core values – confidence, kindness and curiosity – can guide them to grow, not only in their learning but also as people. The assembly closed with warm wishes for a happy, successful and fulfilling year ahead, leaving the community energised for the months to come.
