From music to craft: 5C pupils get creative in assembly

Dsc08857

From a brilliant rendition to creative papier-mâché art and an exciting Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? quiz, our 5C pupils delivered a dynamic assembly that showcased their talents, creativity, and confidence.

The pupils kicked off their assembly with a brilliant rendition of Count on Me and then wowed the audience with vivid setting descriptions inspired by the gripping animated short Ruin. From there, they got hands-on with making papier-mâché pumpkins, engaging the audience with fascinating facts about the planets and our solar system. Finally, they brought the energy with a fast-paced Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Quiz, challenging the audience to match setting descriptions to dramatic scenes.

Dsc08991 Reflecting on the event, Mr. Stephen Ashby, Head of Key Stage 2 and Year 5 teacher, said he was particularly moved by the message that threaded through all the performances and presentations: never underestimate the power of your voice and your ideas.

At Brighton College Vietnam, our pupils are encouraged to step up and shine through meaningful, pupil-led initiatives. Assemblies are one such opportunity, where pupils take the lead in expressing their ideas, sharing learning journeys, and building the confidence to speak with clarity and pride.
