Learning is a journey of discovery and growth. For Mrs Samantha Bagshaw, Head of Prep School, that journey must be filled with energy, joy, and purpose, resulting in an uplifting atmosphere where children feel inspired to explore, learn, and flourish.

The Prep School gathered to hear a meaningful story- a story that encouraged us all to strive to be our truest selves called ‘I am Me’. Later in the week, our youngest children painted pictures to represent their new class names, found excitement in swimming lessons, challenged themselves with mathematical problem solving and stepped eagerly into their Drama lessons.

Reflecting on these experiences, Mrs Bagshaw reaffirms her belief that education reaches far beyond results and test scores. True success, she explains, lies in giving every child the confidence to find their voice, the resilience to take risks, and the reassurance that mistakes are a natural part of learning and growing. “When pupils take ownership of their learning, curiosity flourishes- and with it, confidence,” she shared.
