Brighton College Society

Brighton College Society offers an exciting programme of events for the Brighton College parent community.

Throughout the year, we host a calendar of social events for parents, bringing together our school community in relaxed, cultural, and entertaining settings.

As well as an excellent opportunity to meet and get to know other parents, members of the Common Room love attending events as expert guides and to meet socially with parents.

We hope you will join our exciting Society, and enjoy everything that it has to offer.

Unmissable Events

With a wide network of contacts and the support of the Brighton College Community, we like to ensure that all Brighton College Society events offer a little something extra – whether that is access to private rooms, guest speakers or exclusive access. Here’s a snapshot of some of the events we enjoyed in 2023-24.

Burn's Night

Each year, after being welcomed by a piper, parents tuck into a traditional Burns supper, with a rousing address to the haggis, then dance the night away to a live band at our spirited ceilidh.

A Private Tour of Kew Gardens

With one of the most diverse collections of plants of any botanical garden in the world, we enjoyed a private guided tour in the beautiful setting of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew to learn about its fascinating history.

Comedy Club Night

An evening of fun and laughter at the College, we are joined by some of the most exciting comedians on the circuit. A well-established staple of the Society calendar, our comedy night never fails to delight.

A Private Tour and Wine Tasting at Wiston Estate

Our parents enjoyed a private evening tour and tasting at the award winning Wiston Estate in the heart of West Sussex.

An Italian Exploration at Tutto

An exclusive Brighton College Society five-course tasting menu experience at Tutto, Brighton. Housed in the elegant surroundings of a former banking hall, Tutto is a celebration of Italian dining; where simple, seasonal ingredients and delicious drinks take centre stage.

An exploration of the Underworld of the Royal Pavilion

Hidden beneath the regal glamour of the Royal Pavilion lie a series of interconnected tunnels connecting the Pavilion to the Brighton Dome, George IV’s riding stables at the time. We delved into Brighton’s extraordinary history, with a tour of the tunnels, and explored the Royal Pavilion.

Coming Soon

We have an exciting programme of activities across cultural, political, sporting and culinary experiences to look forward to this year.
