A Bespoke Education

We believe children should learn from, and be inspired by, the best.

Our teachers are enthusiastic experts in their subjects and passionate about engaging pupils in their particular areas of expertise. Our innovative curriculum ensures our Year 8 leavers are confident, well-prepared and highly motivated young adults.

Our bespoke curriculum in Years 7 and 8 includes a humanities programme that takes an innovative approach to teaching history, geography, religious studies and philosophy. Instead of studying these subjects separately, we offer an integrated course that helps pupils understand how these disciplines are connected. This approach allows our pupils to see how the past has shaped our world today.

From Year 7, pupils can extend their language learning with a choice of Spanish, German, Latin or Mandarin.

Achievement and Innovation

We aim to challenge and inspire children to achieve their very best and equip them for the future. Whatever their talents, pupils are given the encouragement and support they need to pursue their interests to the highest degree and foster pupils who are able, gifted and talented in a wide range of areas.

They enjoy an outstanding record of scholarship awards and regularly secure national, regional, and county titles in a wealth of disciplines, from sports to music and design technology to drama. We believe that pupils should be stretched so they fulfil their potential.

Life in Years 7 to 8

One Day Film School

Following their amazing, week-long residential trip to Cornwall, the Year 8 pupils began their two-week Chapter IX activity timetable with an opportunity to learn and experience, first-hand, all of the ‘behind the scenes’ work that goes into modern film production with the One Day Film School.

Memphis Furniture Designs

Pupils in Year 7 have been learning about the Memphis design movement from the early 1980s.

U13 Netball Team Finish 4th in the UK

We are incredibly proud of our U13 netball team for finishing 4th in the country at the IAPS national finals.

Holland Sports Tour

Pupils from Years 7 and 8 enjoyed a four-day sports trip to Holland and the beautiful cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht.
