Pupils led Assembly honouring Vietnam’s Independence Day

Today’s assembly at Brighton College Vietnam was filled with meaning as pupils and teachers gathered to honour the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day.
Planned and led with great care by our Year 12 pupils, the programme at Senior School invited the community to journey back through history: through thoughtful questions, the stirring words of the Declaration of Independence first heard in the autumn of 1945, and melodies that paid tribute to the generations who came before us.
Dressed in traditional áo dài beneath the red flag with its golden star, our pupils not only celebrated the cultural beauty and spirit of gratitude that defines Vietnam, but also offered international friends a chance to connect more deeply with the country’s history and to share in the richness of its heritage.
Our Prep pupils also gathered for an assembly full of excitement and curiosity. Guided by their teachers, they learned about Vietnam’s history and took part in lively Q&A sessions that brought history to life in an engaging and memorable way.
On this National Day, Brighton College Vietnam extends warmest wishes to all pupils for a joyful and meaningful holiday with family and friends.
