The Creative Arts

At Brighton College Vietnam, pupils are free to develop their creativity and express themselves in a vibrant atmosphere through a variety of art-related subjects.

We prepare our pupils to become critical thinkers, problem solvers and young entrepreneurs. Through instilling both practical and creative skills in a variety of materials and technologies, we encourage and support a range of artistic ambitions.

Our Creative Arts

Art

The Art department aims to develop pupils’ creativity, technical skills, and visual communication abilities. Pupils will explore a variety of artistic techniques, analyse artworks, and produce their own creative responses. The course encourages experimentation, self-expression, and critical thinking.

Design Technology

The Design Technology department aims to develop pupils’ creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technical skills through a hands-on, iterative approach to design. Pupils will learn to apply knowledge of materials, processes, and digital technologies to real-world challenges. The course encourages critical thinking, innovation, and effective communication of ideas through sketches, CAD modelling, and prototyping.

We know how important it is to have the space to express yourself, so we are very lucky to have an abundance of creative spaces for pupils to use.

Art Studio

The art studios at Brighton College Vietnam are vibrant spaces where imagination and creativity are nurtured. Through every brushstroke and project, pupils develop perseverance, embrace diverse perspectives, and learn to celebrate individuality as they express their unique voices.

Design Technology Workshop

We are proud to offer one of Vietnam’s most advanced Design Technology workshops, equipped with professional tools from the UK and Europe, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and precision machinery. Pupils bring their ideas to life from initial sketches and CAD designs to crafting final products in wood, metal, and plastic, while integrating skills across Art, Physics, and Computer Science.

Photography Studio and Dark Room

Our dedicated Photography Studio and Dark Room provide pupils with the space to explore the art of visual storytelling. Through the lens and the process of developing their own photographs, they are encouraged to see the world from different perspectives and capture meaningful moments with creativity and purpose.

Sport for All

At Brighton College Vietnam, we believe that every pupil deserves the opportunity to enjoy sport. We cater for pupils of all abilities, and devote time and attention to those who are new to a sport, as well as to those with more experience.
