The Performing Arts

The Performing Arts play an integral part in the daily life of pupils at Brighton College Vietnam.

Each year, our pupils take centre stage in a wide variety of musical and dramatic productions – from informal concerts to large-scale performances and captivating art exhibitions.

Our vibrant theatre complex features a 500-seat auditorium alongside dedicated Dance and Drama Studios, providing an inspiring space where creativity flourishes and confidence takes flight.

Through every performance and exhibition, pupils are encouraged to express themselves, support one another with kindness, and embrace the joy of artistic discovery.

Our Performing Arts

Music

Our department will foster a joyful approach to music, nurturing a love of music, and much of the musical co-curricular feeds into the academic programme. In addition to being able to take individual music lessons, pupils will be able to participate in a variety of musical groups such as choirs, orchestra, concert band and small ensembles.

Drama

Our state-of-the-art 500-seat theatre, along with dedicated Dance and Drama Studios, provides an inspiring stage for artistic expression. Annual drama productions bring pupils together as actors, musicians, and crew, fostering teamwork, discipline, and a deep appreciation for storytelling.

Our Performances

Our departments work closely together to deliver a programme of productions, from ensemble pieces through to principal productions, in the theatre. Taking part in a performance at Brighton College Vietnam is a rite of passage, but they are more than just shows; they are a way in which the school brings pupils together as a team, to nurture collaboration and community.

Blue Stockings

Blue Stockings was a moving celebration of resilience and the transformative power of education, brought to life by over 70 talented Senior pupils. Their heartfelt performances paid tribute to the pioneering women of Girton College and their courageous fight for educational equality.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

A Midsummer Night’s Dream was a magical debut for our Senior School stage, brought to life by the passion and talent of our pupils. With charm, wit, and Shakespearean sparkle, they captivated audiences and filled the Theatre with laughter, applause, and wonder.

The Joy of Christmas

Our Senior School pupils filled the Theatre with festive spirit through enchanting melodies, lively dance routines, and heartwarming performances. It was a joyful celebration that truly captured the magic of the season and brought our community together in holiday cheer.

Spring Concert

The Spring Concert is a cherished annual celebration of pupil-led excellence. From selecting and voting on songs to taking on roles as music leaders, our pupils poured their hearts and creativity into every aspect of the event, making it a truly memorable showcase of talent and teamwork.
