Out and About

School trips are one of the most valuable educational opportunities a pupil can experience.

A number of fantastic trips complement and enhance our pupils’ learning. The first-hand experience pupils gain on these trips enables them to acquire an invaluable mix of knowledge, skills and understanding across a broad range of subject areas, as well as, ultimately, a wider world perspective.

Our Trips

Here are a few examples of just some of the incredible destinations on offer at
the Senior School.

Thac Ba

At Thac Ba, pupils embraced the challenge of raft-building, forest trekking, and engaging with local communities.

Cat Ba

In Cat Ba, they took part in beach clean-ups, kayaking, rock climbing, and a team raft challenge developing environmental awareness and physical resilience.

Mai Chau

A journey to Mai Chau opened a window into tradition, as pupils learned to weave, explored village life, and joined in joyful folk dances.

Out and About

Conquered new personal summits in Sa Pa

Our pupils pushed their boundaries by not only conquering the 600 steps leading to the summit of Fansipan, the highest peak in Vietnam, but also trekking through the expansive Sa Pa valleys, where endless terraced rice fields painted the landscape.

Raft-building, trekking & community connections

Year 9 & 10 pupils embarked on a field trip to Thac Ba, Yen Bai - a chance to connect more deeply with nature, with one another, and with the rhythm of a simpler way of life.

An unforgettable outdoor adventure in Cat Ba

A journey filled with discovery, teamwork, and plenty of personal growth. Stepping away from their usual school routine, the pupils embraced a range of hands-on activities designed to challenge, inspire, and connect.

Nurture a love for culture at Mai Chau

A meaningful break from the classroom and a chance to explore a quieter, more traditional way of life. Pupils experienced a culture deeply rooted in simplicity, community, and connection with nature.
