A Culture of Kindness
We want our pupils to be first-class versions of themselves, not second-class versions of someone else.
We focus on creating an environment of kindness and inclusivity, where everyone looks out for one another, to enable pupils to flourish personally, academically and spiritually.
We know that young people who are happy are young people who thrive. We believe the best way of achieving a happy and content community is to ensure that everyone feels valued for who they are.
"There is a rich vein of kindness and inclusivity running through the school.”
Kindness to Others
Along with achieving some of the best academic results in the country, our pupils leave Brighton College as well-rounded, confident and kind young adults. Kindness is central to the culture of our school.
All pupils join a House. Each House has a Head of House, a common room for relaxing, and a team of tutors. There are no social hierarchies in Houses: all forms mix together and older pupils are actively involved in mentoring younger pupils.
Kindness to Yourself
Wellbeing is at the centre of our school culture and encompasses many aspects of mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health. But at its core is our ability to look after ourselves, and those around us.
Our Pastoral Care team, including qualified nurses and psychologists, works closely together to provide dedicated support for every pupil, ensuring they are healthy, happy and confident throughout their learning journey.
Supporting You and Your Child
Our pastoral system, overseen by a dedicated Deputy Head, ensures that everyone feels cared for in both academic and personal matters.
We are here to support not only our pupils and teachers, but our parents too. We hold regular seminars for parents on topics ranging from teenagers and social media, to how to help your child get the most from their revision.
Our Safeguarding Policy outlines the measures we take to protect our pupils and ensure their welfare. We encourage all parents to review it to understand how we maintain a safe school community. Please download the policy using this link.
"Kindness is at the core of the school."
A Part of Society
Our pupils know that there is a whole world beyond the classroom, and we encourage them to remember that they are a part of society, not apart from it.
Visit our State-of-the-art Campus
The best experience of what life is like at Brighton College Vietnam is to join us on a campus tour, where you will have the chance to watch our inspiring classes, talk to pupils and dedicated educators about what makes our school such a special place, and to answer any questions you have about life here.
